CAO Zaifei wants to make the absurdity real. He takes over the image methodology of British and American consumerist pop art, retains the ironic logic of political pop art, and makes the spirit of pop go from passionate hallucination to rational intervention, which can be called "cold pop". He set up a parallel universe that runs parallel to everyday life, in which the readymade products operate, and the relationship and logic are so absurd that they become art. He discovers the hiding place of an absurd reality, where everything is everyday and ordinary, but juxtaposed together is extremely absurd. The reality is that this is how the world is, with distorted relationships and sinister hearts, and that is what makes it absurd, hidden in the depths of the unseen. (text from Uli Art Centre)
