ArtReview Asia Xiàn Chǎng | Performance Listings for Let's Deal by a.f.art theatreFangling

The project is designed to perform virtual trading activities in the art market by means of art tour. The performers from different professions and businesses including architecture and entertainment have long been paying much attention to art. From the graphic to the spatial and from the formal to the structural, they can read artworks of a certain kind and wish to hold some. HUANG will personate a senior specialist in contemporary art, taking the performers to appreciate the works on display in several galleries and their booths at the fair. Through such an introduction and promotion with a stream of words by the artist-as-docent/salesperson, she attempts to evoke the rethinking upon “taste” and its sociality with potential purchasing behaviours, while revisiting and examining the intermedium of herself or herself as the intermedium therein.
