ZHANG Ruyi is participating “Emerald City” curated by Venus Lau, Artistic Director, at K11 Art Foundation, Hong Kong. The exhibition is aimed at examining the persistence of “geometric” thinking and its related entities or constructs in the global context. In the pop-up space at Cosco Tower, Sheung Wan, the commissioned work entitled Architectural Fittings—3 by the artist proposes a concrete design that signifies the principles of transience in the building process. She observes today’s confusion in cities and finds there is no fixed form in the ever-developing society. The exhibition will last until 22 April 2018.
