WU Ding is participating “Future that Never Returns,” the third section of the first Anren Biennale “Today's Yesterday,” and “After the Ebb,” one of the Local Action programs in the third Jimei x Arles International Photo Festival. The artist takes the order within time and space as a response to the different geographical conceptions projected by the two exhibitions. Abstract perception is habituated to pure form, contributing to the construction of a parallel field of a unique kind where the historical landscape as a performative ensemble transforms into a mindscape of one’s own.
