ZHANG Ruyi is participating “Zhongguo 2185” curated by Victor Wang at Sadie Coles HQ, London. The exhibition features the media perspective of sinofuturism to examine the openness of Chinese contemporary practices. ZHANG Ruyi utilizes green concrete to brigde together her sculptural piece Planter (2017) and site-specific installation Architectural Fittings (2017), rendering the ex-situ performance of her language of line drawing.
