ZHANG Ruyi is participating the "4th Documentary Exhibition of Fine Arts / Stress Field" co-organized by the Hubei Museum of Art and the Fine Arts Literature Art Center, where her works are included in the section of "Secret Power" (the interactive force within the things). The exhibition draws support from a unique term out of physics and geology to develop a discursive field that applys to the internal and external structure around different things and objects with its aim to provide certain cross-section profiles of the current civilized order of the human society. ZHANG Ruyi utilizes cactus and some other natural elements to develop the vis-à-vis integrating or confrontational relationships between sculpture and architecture, taking the method of "trussing" and "stripping", also "blocking" to install her language of building geometry.
