Cao Zaifei's art is mainly based on the absurd scenes of our daily survival. He uses various media such as paintings,performances, installations, and videos to search for bizarre scenes and traces from our real-life situations. With exaggerated, humorous, and profane postmodern techniques, he satirizes and measures the vicissitudes and challenges of the times. Thus, he expresses his deep concern for the current social reality, clearly indicating his attitude and position of reflection, questioning, exposure, and criticism.

Before the opening of the exhibition "Desolate Egg Collector", a dialogue will be held between curator Feng Boyi, guest Du Xiyun, and artist Cao Zaifei.
