Overview
Don Gallery has found an interesting phenomenon through interaction with Chinese and foreign artists these years: works from different artists converse. This time we are honored to present the exhibition of two artists, "Conversation". Abstract artists Christeene Britton from Australia and Qu Fengguo from China, are going to have a conversation with their new pieces of art.

Christeene Britton and Qu Fengguo come from different countries, with different cultural backgrounds and dissimilar drives for art. Qu Fengguo's works have contemplative elements of "handwriting", "space", and "touch", while aspiration for Christeene Britton comes often from concrete objects or particular incidents. And thus the two artists who have never met before both choose abstraction as way of self expression. More interestingly, in terms of handling lines and choosing colors, their works tend to show surprising similarities.

These similarities are not superficial but instead deeply rooted in Christeene Britton and Qu Fengguo's views on some issues. On time and space, purpose and presentation, essence of art, and so on, they share very similar perspectives. Their works are exploration of abstract forms and questions for life itself. "Conversation" is not only exchange between the artists but also interaction and mutual influence between the art works and the audience.
