Overview

ZAKA, the anonymous artist is back. After his first solo - “Halo” in 2012 at Don Gallery, ZAKA brings three sets of new works for his upcoming solo “Astrology” that opens on May 25, 2014.

“Astrology” is also the title of one set of works. The images of twelve astrologies are originally from an ancient European series; while being presented by materials of stainless steel, the work delivers mysterious radiance in light. “Untitled (the sculpture of Defined Astrology)” does not have a definition but its astrology shall depend on the opening day of the show. “After the Divination?” implies an attitude of provocation as well as an irony of fate.
As always, ZAKA plays with light and colors; this time, bold attempts are added in the game of materials.
